Come sit a spell.

Welcome to the porch.

Pull up a rocker. Every book here is clean, Southern, and written to feel like a visit with people you'd want living next door. Pour yourself some sweet tea and stay a while.

Rachel's blue and white collection

A little of the real collection.

From Rachel's porch

I collect blue and white. I write about the South.

Ginger jars, chinoiserie plates, anything blue and white that catches my eye in a little antique shop. It's the same thing I love about writing: old things with good stories still in them.

My books live on the Georgia and South Carolina coast, in the Blue Ridge mountains, and in the small towns in between. The porch is always open.

Supper's on The Front Porch.

Every month, my Front Porch community on Patreon gets a new set of Keepsake Letters written by the characters, and there is always a recipe tucked inside. The recipes live over on the porch, not here on the website, so come on over.
