I get a lot of the same questions, so here are the answers to the most common ones!

What kinds of books do you write?

I write clean romance and women’s fiction set in the South. All of my books are either set at the beach or in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My books are free of vulgar language and have no on-page sex. However, I do write swoony romance. Think of it as “Just Kisses” heat level.

Are your books clean?

Yes! My books are clean romance with no explicit content or foul language. Just heartwarming stories, swoony romance, and characters you’ll fall in love with.

I’m new to your books. Where should I start?

What is the reading order for your books?

Which of your series are complete?

My completed series are Sweet Tea B&B, Whiskey Ridge, Wisteria Island, Waverly Lane, and January Cove. My South Carolina Sunsets, Jubilee, and Lowcountry Ladies Club series are still ongoing.

Why should I buy from your store?

If you want to support authors directly, buying from their store cuts out the middleman and allows them to keep most of their profits. As authors, we share a large percentage of our profits with retailers when you buy through them. That being said, I still love my retailers like Amazon, Apple, and Nook, so buy where you feel led to buy! One thing you can ONLY get here: discounted ebook and audiobook bundles.

What is BookFunnel?

How do I get my ebooks and audiobooks after I buy them?

After you purchase, you’ll receive an email from BookFunnel with your download link and instructions for how to send your book to your Kindle, Nook, tablet, or phone. If you have any problems finding the email or downloading your books, please email the BookFunnel tech team at help@bookfunnel.com. They’re great at helping with download and device questions.

What are your special edition hardcovers?

My special edition hardcovers are collector’s editions that are only available here in my store. You won’t find them on Amazon or in any bookstore. Each one features a beautiful dust jacket with original artwork, a gorgeous hardcover underneath, sprayed page edges, and an author-signed bookplate. I also tuck a few pieces of exclusive swag inside each box. These editions contain multiple full novels in one hardcover book, making them perfect for your bookshelf or as a gift for a fellow book lover. Once a special edition sells out, it won’t return in that format, so grab them while they’re available! Browse all special editions and paperbacks here.

Do you sell paperbacks?

Yes! I have money-saving paperback bundles. Individual paperbacks are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble's website. Browse paperbacks and special editions here.

Where can I find large print books?

Can I buy your books outside the US?

Yes! Ebooks and audiobooks are available for purchase worldwide through my store. BookFunnel delivers digitally, so there are no shipping restrictions for digital purchases. For physical books (paperbacks, special editions, and bundles), I currently ship within the US only.

Where do you post about giveaways and new releases?

I have two reader communities where I share everything first:

My Facebook reader group has over 28,000 readers. I announce giveaways, new releases, and interact daily.

I also have a reader community called The Front Porch on Patreon! It has free and paid levels. Join the free level to hear about all new releases and giveaways.

Have any of your books been made into TV shows or movies?

Not yet! But trust me, I would love nothing more. My books have all the ingredients — small-town settings, swoon-worthy love stories, characters you want to move in next door to — so if there are any producers or Hallmark executives reading this, hi! I'm right here! 👋 The truth is, this is one of those things where an author kind of has to wait to be approached. I can't exactly walk into a studio and slide my manuscript across the table (though don't think I haven't thought about it). So for now, I'm putting that energy into writing the best stories I can and hoping the right person falls in love with one of them. Is Rachel Hanna a Christian author?

My books are not specifically religious in any way. They are clean romance, meaning there's no on-page sex, no sexual innuendo, and no vulgar language — just kisses. That makes them a great fit for readers of any background or belief system who prefer books without explicit content.

When did you start writing?

I started writing when I was a kid, but I published my first fiction book in 2012. I now have 54+ books and counting!
