Piece By Piece

The wall between their two shops is thinner than either of them thinks.

Liza Forrester left her high-pressure Charleston marketing career with no plan beyond catching her breath. Filling in at Down Yonder Books while Dixie recovers from a sprained wrist was supposed to be temporary. But somewhere between redoing the children's corner and dreaming up a Books & Brains night for Seagrove's kids, Liza starts to wonder if the life she walked away from was ever really hers.

Next door, Grant Whitmore just wants quiet. The burned-out creator of a hit puzzle app, he's come to Seagrove to open The Puzzle Post and build something slower and more lasting. His plan is simple: keep his head down, avoid complications, and never fall in love again.

Then Julie signs them both up for the summer festival committee without asking either one. And the more Liza chips away at Grant's silence, the more she suspects there's a story underneath it.

Sometimes the life you're meant for comes together the same way a puzzle does. One piece at a time.
